Group Head Equipment Optimization
Job Purpose:
To optimize heavy equipment performance, reliability, health, and lifecycle cost through data-driven monitoring, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives—ensuring safe, productive, and cost-efficient operations across all sites.
Placement :
PT Cipta Kridatama (CK), a subsidiary of PT ABM Investama.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment performance monitoring & cost optimization: lead enterprise equipment performance and cost analytics, benchmarking against industry best practices to drive optimization. Oversee lifecycle cost management—including maintenance, refurbishment, rebuilds, and replacements—and ensure effective management of equipment warranty review and claim processes.
- Equipment health & reliability management: lead the development of equipment health management frameworks, applying reliability engineering methods (e.g. FMEA, failure trend analysis, component health analytics) to prevent failures and optimize lifecycle decisions. Analyze equipment condition, failure history, and site-specific risks to extend asset life while maintaining safety, productivity, and cost discipline.
- Maintenance compliance & performance assurance: ensure compliance of maintenance activities with established standards, monitor cross-site compliance data to identify risks, and correlate maintenance execution with equipment availability, reliability, and health outcomes. Conduct field reviews to validate maintenance quality and drive continuous improvement.
- Continuous improvement & strategic advisory: act as a group-level technical advisor to drive equipment optimization, reliability improvement, and lifecycle strategy, supporting asset planning and equipment configuration decisions through performance and health data insights. Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and internal stakeholders to implement continuous improvement and modification programs that enhance performance and cost efficiency.
- Leadership, governance & risk management: lead and develop the equipment optimization team, building capability and ensuring performance accountability, while supporting financial planning, budgeting, and cost control for optimization initiatives. Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and risk management standards, and manage change, communication, and cross-functional alignment across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in equipment management, maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, or asset optimization within mining, energy, or heavy equipment industries.
- Proven experience managing large equipment fleets across multi-site operations.
- Strong exposure to equipment lifecycle management, rebuild strategies, and reliability programs.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems, equipment health dashboards, performance analytics, and data-driven decision-making tools.
Risk Management Senior Specialist
Purpose Job:
To implement risk management, ensure the completeness of the Risk Register, carry out timely mitigation, monitor risk levels, and analyze industry trends and the potential impact of emerging risks on the company.
Job Description:
- Ensure that risk management policies and methodologies are effectively implemented.
- Implement and manage the company’s risk management process.
- Control corporate risks and ensure the completeness of the Risk Register.
- Ensure that risk mitigation actions are executed according to schedule.
- Monitor risk levels and prepare forward-looking projections.
- Review performance through the Early Warning & Risk Indicator Dashboard.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly risk implementation review reports.
- Organize risk management training, socialization, and discussion sessions.
- Act as an advisor and facilitator for the company’s risk management system.
- Facilitate Risk Assessments (identification, analysis, and evaluation).
- Provide recommendations for mitigation and identify emerging risks.
- Manage the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system and coordinate among risk owners.
- Analyze financial reports and contracts for risk evaluation.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and new risks along with their potential impacts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Economics.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in risk management, preferably in coal mining contracting.
- Possess a professional certification as a Certified Risk Management Officer (CRMO).
- Proficient in Power BI, Data Science, and/or Power Apps.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
