Logistics Planning Engineer
The Successful Candidate Must Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP systems for process management, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
- Gained hands-on experience in logistics and storage operations, ensuring effective supply chain management and inventory control.
- Possess proficiency in AutoCAD as an added advantage, enabling the creation and interpretation of technical drawings for design and operational purposes.
What You Will Do
- Design and implement efficient logistics solutions, including warehouse layouts, material flow, and process optimization to support operational goals.
- Analyse storage and productivity data to identify trends, improve utilization, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Plan and execute warehouse storage design, covering machinery and equipment procurement, workforce allocation, inventory transfer, and integration of WMS and SAP systems.
- Manage operational logistics flow layouts using AutoCAD and Epix, ensuring accurate material allocation and optimal space utilization.
- Monitor and control logistics assets and budget consumption, aligning procurement decisions with operational needs and cost-efficiency targets.
- Provide training and support for logistics operations, introducing new layouts, workflows, and asset arrangements to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
