Sales Engineer
Your Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and sell more products or services (upselling) to current clients, growing the value of each existing account
- Seek and acquire new customers by performing the sales business process, from prospecting/canvassing, lead generation, to negotiation and closing contracts
- Perform customer visits and act as the primary point of contact for the customers, address concerns, and ensure their needs are met, commercially and technically in alignment with the targets set by the Company
- Monitor and catalyse after-sales support deliveries to make sure any customer’s pain points are immediately and properly addressed in alignment with the targets set by the Company
- Assist the finance team to track whether customers pay on time and encourage payment performance
- Actively take part in professional and personal development activities in the Company
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years at the same field
- Sales process and business acumen
- Understanding of the mining industry, including its key players, operational processes, and the specific equipment and technology used
- Ability to understand and discuss operational metrics, such as TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), Productivity, and Life Cycle Cost (LCC)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders to deliver compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and communicate complex information clearly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the company’s and the customers’ specific challenges and propose tailored solutions
- An established network of contacts within the mining industry is highly valuable
