Graduate Engineer Trainee
SC Johnson Indonesia offers undergraduate students the opportunity to join the organization through a comprehensive training program for a period of 24 months. This unique program is designed to develop future leaders in marketing function by providing challenging and meaningful projects across ASEAN. The position will be based in Pulogadung, Indonesia – Manufacturing plant.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- The program duration is 24 months.
- Participants will have 2-3 rotations during this period, including experiences in marketing commercialization and customer marketing roles.
- Upon completion of the 24 months period, based on good performance and delivery in the program, the Graduate will be converted to a permanent position.
Training Methodology
- The program follows a 70-20-10 approach:
- 70% On the Job Training (OJT): Graduates will undergo Company & Commercial Onboarding, be assigned local, cross-functional, and country rotations.
- 20% Learning from others: Graduates will be assigned a coach and mentor, receive feedback & assessments, and engage in networking.
- 10% Formal Training via Classroom, E-Learning of Functional Skills.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies
- Learn and demonstrate technical/functional competence in manufacturing and quality processes.
- Develop and apply safety and people leadership skills.
- Use learned knowledge to help supervise team operations and make recommendations for labor and manufacturing, efficiencies, cost savings, and process improvements.
- Assist the team leadership by supporting and implementing programs.
- Help supervise daily shift operations to deliver on manufacturing standards and quality measurements to achieve targeted production volumes for the area of responsibility.
- Build and cultivate strong working relationships and collaboration within the team and with team members, fostering a positive working environment.
- Actively involved in the plant’s initiatives, including continuous improvements, and act as a change agent.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering or Science field.
- Maximum of 1 year working experience.
