Job Description
The Sales Trainee will undergo a structured 12-months training program designed to develop a deep understanding of the flavor industry, customer engagement strategies, and business processes, through supporting Account Managers to grow sales and profitability according to objectives. The role prepares candidates to transition into a Junior Account Manager position by equipping them with essential skills in sales, technical knowledge, and client relationship management. This function will be reporting to the Account Manager, Taste who is based in Indonesia.
Your key responsibilities
- Comprehensive training sessions on product knowledge, flavor applications, B2B flow processes
- Shadow experienced account managers and support day-to-day sales activities
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new business opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of client meeting, updating CRM and prepare sales reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as GRS, marketing, technical & creation support, supply chain- to have end to end understanding of customer needs
- Attend customer visits together with Account Managers, and trade shows as part of training exposure

You bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Chemical Engineering/Biotechnology or relevant field from an accredited university required
- Fresh graduate or having 1 years working experience in food ingredients industries
- Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication, presentation, and able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Effective business English with a global mindset to work with different cultures
- Extended product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for taste
