Kedutaan Besar Denmark di Indonesia dan ASEAN (Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia and ASEAN) merupakan perwakilan resmi pemerintah Denmark yang berlokasi di Jakarta. Kedutaan ini memainkan peran penting dalam menjalin dan memperkuat hubungan bilateral antara Denmark dan Indonesia, mencakup bidang politik, ekonomi, perdagangan, kebudayaan, serta kerja sama pembangunan. Selain itu, Kedutaan Denmark juga aktif dalam mendukung perusahaan-perusahaan Denmark yang beroperasi di Indonesia serta memfasilitasi hubungan dagang dan investasi dua negara. Layanan konsuler seperti penerbitan visa dan bantuan bagi warga negara Denmark juga menjadi bagian dari tugas kedutaan.
Selain menangani hubungan bilateral dengan Indonesia, Embassy of Denmark in Indonesia and ASEAN juga bertanggung jawab atas hubungan Denmark dengan ASEAN. Kedutaan ini mendukung inisiatif regional dalam bidang iklim, energi terbarukan, kesehatan, tata kelola pemerintahan, dan pendidikan melalui kerja sama strategis dengan institusi-institusi ASEAN. Fokus kedutaan juga mencakup diplomasi hijau dan pembangunan berkelanjutan, sejalan dengan kebijakan luar negeri Denmark yang menekankan peran aktif dalam solusi global. Lokasi kedutaan berada di Menara Rajawali, Jakarta Selatan, dan menjadi pusat kegiatan diplomasi Denmark di kawasan Asia Tenggara.

Type of Employment: Full time, 40 hours per week, employment on a two-year local contract with possibility of extension.

Job Description:
The Danish Embassy is looking for a new embassy driver. We seek to recruit an excellent and motivated driving professional, who knows their way around the streets of Jakarta in order to beat the ‘macet’ and reach a venue in due time along with a safe driving record. You have experience from working at an embassy and have strong customer service and can pay attention to detail. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of integrity, self-motivation, planning skills, and initiative. You will be part of the administration team of eight employees, including the ambassador’s driver.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Transportation for meetings, delegations, etc.
- Keeping the driver schedule updated.
- Maintenance of the embassy car, logbook, cleaning, and ensuring adherence to maintenance schedule.
- Assist the admin team in updating and registering all diplomatic cars at the mission (license plates, documentation to KEMLU, police, etc.).
- Participate in logistical preparations of high-level visits, including driving schedules.
- Being service-minded and ready to assist all colleagues at the Embassy.
- Settlement in RejsUd of drivers’ outlays in due time.
- Assist the Admin Section and Reception as needed (visitors, packing of letters and dip. shipments, photocopying, shredding, etc.).
- Delivery of letters in town (KEMLU, other local authorities and embassies, etc.).
- Ad-hoc tasks at the embassy when not driving.
Qualifications:
- Safe driving record.
- Previous working experience from an embassy is an advantage.
- Good command of the English language, both orally and written, as well as locally spoken Indonesian language.
- Integrity, sound judgment, and good planning skills.
- Being service-minded and ready to assist all colleagues at the Embassy.
- Well organized, responsible, and flexible.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Employment Conditions:
- You will be offered a full time, two-year employment on a local contract based on the relevant legally binding labour market rules of Indonesia and embassy staff rules.

- Your standard working hours are 40 hours per week.
- You will be entitled to 22 days paid holiday per year.
We would like you to start on 1 August or as soon as possible (subject to Danish security clearance).
