E&I Associate Production Engineer
Job Overview:
The Associate Production Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation discipline) is responsible for utilizing existing production procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team and will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to production and Fabrication.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review project scope of work, schedules, and specifications; understand the requirements and deliverables
- Prepare Work Package for work execution
- Review the fabrication schedule and suggest corrections to the Planning Team
- Ensure materials, fabrications and installations are in accordance with the specifications and drawings.
- Check material availability and review weekly material reports
- Initiate site queries to utilize available material (substitutions)
- Provide field guidance as necessary and ensure compliance with Project and Company specification.
- Attend production meetings and report concerns
- Monitor scope changes and Production revision orders
- Review weekly fabrication progress and assist to monitor production man-hours and productivity
- Review two weeks look ahead plans and identify the constraints (material / drawings and actual construction condition)
- Liaise with Detailing engineer to ensure the drawing are issued timely / all parties understand any approved change
- Liaise with shop/erection supervision to ensure compliance with the project plan
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree S1/D4 in the field of study as follows:
- Electrical & Instrumentation: Electrical Engineering, Physic Engineering, Marine Engineering
- 0-2 years of work experience. Fresh Graduate are encouraged to apply!
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read/review engineering drawings and understand the requirement
- Knowledge of Discipline Component for Fabrication/construction
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas onshore / offshore construction industry is a plus
- Knowledge of industry code and standards and best practices related to production processes and facilities project execution is a plus
Associate Structural Engineer
Job Overview:
The Associate Structural Engineer is responsible for utilizing existing Structural (Eng) procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team, and they will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Structural (Eng) and Engineering.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Review and approve accurate and detailed structural shop drawings using 2D computer-aided design (CAD) and/or other detailing software for fabrication
- Review and approve red line markup drawing for as built
- Raise Site Query Sheet (SQS) related with design drawing i.e., clash in design model/drawing, discrepancy, clarification to design engineering
- Raise revision/change order for any work performed which are outside the original scope
- Collaborate closely with production engineer, shop engineer, PMT, design engineering, or other detailing engineer in developing structural shop drawings, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and fabrication requirements
- Prepare weight change report
- Coordinate with lead engineer, to resolve technical issues
- Conduct regular self-inspections and quality checks to verify adherence to design drawings and structural codes
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to structural drafting and design
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives existing processes
Reports to: Project: Lead Engineer
Functional: Supervising Department Manager
Liaises with: Engineers, Design Supervisor, and Designers of their own discipline
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Min. bachelor’s degree in offshore/ocean engineering, naval architecture, civil engineering or a similar filed is preferred
- Fresh graduate to 3 years of experience as a drafting engineer or similar role in the fabrication industry.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of technical drawing
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes for drafting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Good teamwork abilities to collaborate with drafting team
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges in developing technical drawings
- Proactive, willing to learn, and commitment to work with good performance to maintain productivity, quality, and safety
