Junior Field Service Engineer – Mechanical
As a Junior Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a critical role onsite, leading installation and maintenance activities. You’ll troubleshoot issues, ensure safe and compliant installations, and become the onsite expert, continuously developing your skills to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical direction for onsite activities to internal teams and contractors, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.
- Oversee, troubleshoot, overhaul, and commission rotating equipment at customer sites for optimal performance.
- Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, daily/weekly briefings for customers and internal teams.
- Ensure that internal training, compliance, and quality documentation are consistently followed and updated per company standards.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role within the energy, oil & gas, or similar industries.
- A dynamic, customer-oriented mindset, with experience in guiding customers through complex decisions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A valid passport, with proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, including to offshore facilities.
