Local Language Specialist Intern
About the Role
We’re looking for a Local Language Specialist Intern to support our team. In this role, you’ll help digitalize printed Bahasa Indonesia transcripts, validate language accuracy, and assist with various content tasks when needed. You’ll work closely with the team, and may occasionally be required to visit the Gojek Head Office for coordination.
What You Will Do
- Convert printed Bahasa Indonesia transcripts into a digital format with high accuracy.
- Validate and ensure correctness in Bahasa Indonesia language usage.
- Assist in various content-related tasks within the Corporate Affairs team.
- Coordinate with regional teams and be available for on-site work at the Gojek Head Office when necessary.
- Participate in simple voice-collection tasks involving Bahasa Indonesia phrases, as required for internal initiatives.
What You Will Need
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Sastra Indonesia or Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, or a closely related field.

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern to join our team and contribute to the development of our in-house Large Language Model (LLM). In this role, you’ll tackle the challenges of data collection, validation, and labeling, directly impacting the quality and effectiveness of our LLM. You’ll work closely with our data science and engineering teams, participating in daily standups, and collaborating on live production projects. Over the first six months, you’ll gain hands-on experience in managing and preparing large datasets, ensuring the quality of our AI models, and contributing to cutting-edge AI projects that drive real business value.
What You Will Do
- Collect and validate data from various sources to train our LLM.
- Analyze, review, and accurately label text data based on predefined guidelines.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of labeled data by following established protocols.
- Provide feedback on labeling guidelines and suggest improvements.
