Fresh Graduate – Technical Service Engineer
About the Role
We are excited to announce that we are recruiting for the newly created position of Technical Specialist Engineer (TSE). This role will be based in our office in Balikpapan, Indonesia, and will involve working at both office and mine site locations. You will be joining an inclusive, friendly, and supportive team of industry professionals.
The Technical Specialist Engineer (TSE) will act as a company representative at various client sites within Indonesia and the Southeast Asia region. This role involves providing training and technical expertise, maintenance and repairs, and support for GroundProbe’s products and business development both locally and globally in surface and underground environments.
What You Will Be Doing
- Installation and Integration: Install and integrate GroundProbe’s products as required for customers.
- Commissioning and Decommissioning: Commission and decommission GroundProbe’s products.
- Product Demonstrations: Organise and perform external demonstrations of GroundProbe’s products.
- Follow-Up: Ensure successful outcomes for customers and GroundProbe after demonstrations.
- Training: Train users on the deployment, operation, and maintenance of GroundProbe’s products.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
- Maintenance: Maintain GroundProbe’s products, minimizing downtime and meeting customer needs.
- Remote Support: Perform technical support work on GroundProbe technologies at remote sites and from GroundProbe’s office.
What You Will Bring
- Educational Background: Degree in Engineering; Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Informatics disciplines.
- Travel Readiness: Hold a current Indonesian passport with the ability to obtain visas for international travel.
- Experience: Extensive relevant technical work experience in a customer service-based organization or similar; 0-3 years’ experience in the mining industry.
- Safety Knowledge: Good understanding of mining safety management systems and a commitment to prioritizing safety.
