Mining Commercial Assistant Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development – 70%
- Develop new contacts with Prospect Mining Companies ie Freeport, Amman, Antam and other mining company in Indonesia.
- Identify specialized distributors, contractors or local partner at mine sites.
- Promote Prysmian Mining Products through Mining Site Visit, meetings and presentation.
- Monitor competitors’ activities.
- Sell to prospective and existing domestic customers including to develop and manage routes to market in the domestic market.
Quotations and Sales Administration – 20%
- Fill up Sales Handover and validate the quotation request.
- Follow up status of tenders, check quotations before submission and submit to the client.
- Clarify any technical specification and commercial requirement.
- Negotiate the final terms with clients.
- Ensure the handover of sales order to Back office is running smoothly.
- Liaise with Back Office departments to ensure timely response to customers inquiries.
- Actively communicate with Prysmian Germany to ensure get best technical support and IC offer for Mining Special Cables product.
- Monitor and produce report on sales activity through Sales Force, monthly sales reports and forecasts and manage customers’ database.
- Liaise with the customers to ensure proper execution of orders and on-time delivery.
Financial Management – 10%
- Ensure on-time debt collection from all customers.
Qualifications:
- University degree or Diploma in any discipline, preferably from Engineering or technical background.
- Good proficiency in English, written and spoken.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in Mining sales field and preferably the electrical-related or cables industry.
- Has developed and executed tactical sales plans.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the sales process, sales programmes, company systems as well as both in-house and field based sales operations.
