SAP Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program Indonesia
The SAP STAR Program is a globally integrated work-study initiative designed for students pursuing degrees in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or General Business. This program offers a unique chance to gain real-world experience while completing the final 12+ months of your undergraduate studies.
What You’ll Experience
As a STAR student, you will:
- Rotate across various business units within our Customer Success (CS) and Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) organizations.
- Receive hands-on development, mentoring, and coaching from experienced managers and leaders.
- Work full-time during school breaks, part-time during the academic year, or full-time over a semester to earn course credit.
- Build a professional network early with guidance from experienced mentors.

Program Structure
STARs are required to complete at least three mandatory customer-facing rotations in designated business areas, followed by additional rotations across other SAP business areas. Examples include:
- Sales: Engage with clients as trusted advisors, delivering sustainable solutions to major business challenges.
- Presales: Provide pre-sales support for SAP products and services, including creating sales presentations and product demos.
- Customer Success Manager: Manage customer accounts through various lifecycle stages, including onboarding, adoption, and renewal.
- Consulting & Delivery: Work with clients to address their needs, providing expert advice and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Partner Business Management: Collaborate with partners to drive mutual success, managing relationships and developing joint business plans.
- Business Operations: Enhance efficiency within SAP through the Customer Value Journey.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates for the STAR Program:
- Are studying Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or General Business.
- Have at least 12+ months remaining in their studies.
- Are currently studying in Indonesia.
- Possess strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Are interested in technology, innovation, and digital solutions for business challenges.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, ambition, resilience, proactivity, and a growth mindset.
- Are collaborative, empathetic, team-oriented, and capable of handling pressure.
