Diplomacy in Action merupakan inisiatif dari Departemen Luar Negeri Amerika Serikat (U.S. Department of State) yang dirancang untuk memperlihatkan bagaimana diplomasi berperan aktif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui kampanye ini, Departemen Luar Negeri ingin menjembatani pemahaman publik tentang peran diplomasi dalam menyelesaikan konflik internasional, memfasilitasi kerja sama antarnegara, serta menjaga keamanan nasional dan perdamaian global. Konten dalam kampanye ini sering kali mencakup kisah diplomat di lapangan, strategi hubungan internasional, serta peran Amerika Serikat dalam badan internasional seperti PBB dan NATO.
Departemen Luar Negeri AS adalah lembaga pemerintah federal yang bertanggung jawab atas kebijakan luar negeri dan hubungan internasional Amerika Serikat. Dipimpin oleh Menteri Luar Negeri (Secretary of State), departemen ini bertugas mengelola kedutaan besar dan konsulat di berbagai negara, merundingkan perjanjian bilateral dan multilateral, serta memperjuangkan hak asasi manusia dan demokrasi di seluruh dunia. Requirements:
- All selected candidates must be able to obtain and hold a: Public Trust – Background Investigation security clearance.
- All selected candidates will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam.
- Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks / 1 month) upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications, or their candidacy may end.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, Library and Information Science, Sociology, Communication Studies, or Political Science.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Four years of managing a book acquisitions program in libraries or educational institutions, or publishing houses, or non-governmental organizations.

- Good knowledge and understanding of the current political, social, and religious environment in Indonesia.
- General knowledge of the history of Indonesia.
