PT Kalimantan Aluminium Industry (KAI), anak perusahaan PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk, sedang membangun smelter aluminium di atas lahan seluas 600 hektar di Kalimantan Utara. Pada fase pertama, smelter ini direncanakan memiliki kapasitas produksi sebesar 500.000 ton aluminium per tahun, dengan target operasi komersial pada semester pertama tahun 2025. Investasi untuk proyek ini mencapai sekitar US$2 miliar atau setara dengan Rp30 triliun.
Pembangunan smelter ini sejalan dengan program hilirisasi mineral yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah Indonesia, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah sumber daya alam dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada impor aluminium, yang saat ini mencapai hampir 1 juta ton per tahun. Selain itu, proyek ini diharapkan dapat menyerap lebih dari 6.000 tenaga kerja lokal selama fase konstruksi dan sekitar 1.500 tenaga kerja saat fase operasional. Dalam pengembangan selanjutnya, smelter ini direncanakan memanfaatkan energi baru dan terbarukan dari pembangkit listrik tenaga air, mendukung komitmen Indonesia menuju Net Zero Emission.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma’s degree (D3) from a reputable university, majoring in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (K3), Nutrition, or Nursing
- Must possess certifications related to Occupational Health and Safety in the Work Environment, such as HIMU/HIMA, HACCP, Food Safety, ACLS, BTCLS, STR, or Hiperkes
- Minimum 1 years of experience in the IHOH field within the setting of a Power Plant (PLTU), Smelter, Mining, Construction, or EPC Contractor
- Strong teamwork and problem escalation skills, especially in field operations
- Willing to be placed at the jobsite in Bulungan, North Kalimantan with a roster system
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the four pillars of Health: Promotive, Preventive, Curative, and Rehabilitative
- Possess knowledge of the Health and Industrial Hygiene program cycle (AREP)
- Be familiar with the procedures and flow of Occupational Health Services
- Conduct environmental monitoring and workplace measurements effectively
- Provide training sessions related to Occupational and Environmental Health practices
- Develop and organize work programs, schedules, reports, and proper documentation
- Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with company policies
